These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Amariah Baby Shop website and your purchase of products from us, whether through our website, WhatsApp, telephone, or in store.
By placing an order with Amariah Baby Shop, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Amariah Baby Shop
Amariah Baby Shop is a family-run baby shop based in Saika, Nairobi, serving parents and families in Nairobi and across Kenya.
Our product range includes baby packages, blankets, clothing, feeding and bathing items, diapers, nursery essentials and baby accessories.
2. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and availability information are accurate.
However:
- Product photographs may differ slightly from the actual product due to lighting, photography or screen settings.
- Product specifications and packaging may change because of manufacturer or supplier updates.
- Colours, prints and styles may vary between batches.
- Availability may change without notice.
If you need a specific colour, size or brand, please confirm with us before ordering.
3. Baby Products and Safety
Baby products should always be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Customers are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for their child’s age, size and needs, and for supervising use where appropriate.
Our team is happy to advise on sizing and suitability, but the final choice rests with the customer or guardian.
4. Prices and Quotations
Prices displayed or quoted by Amariah Baby Shop may change because of supplier pricing, exchange rates, import costs, taxes, availability or other commercial factors.
Where a product is listed as requiring a quotation, the price will be confirmed before the order is finalised.
A quotation does not constitute acceptance of an order until payment and order confirmation requirements have been completed.
5. Orders
An order is considered confirmed when Amariah Baby Shop has accepted it and, where applicable, received the required payment or deposit.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where:
- The product is unavailable
- There is an obvious pricing or listing error
- The product has been discontinued
- The requested product cannot reasonably be sourced
- We suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity
- Other circumstances prevent us from fulfilling the order
Where we cancel an order and payment has already been received, any applicable refund will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable Kenyan law.
6. Payment
Payment methods may include mobile money, bank transfer and other methods communicated by Amariah Baby Shop.
Please make payments only through payment details confirmed by us.
Amariah Baby Shop will never ask you to disclose your M-PESA PIN, bank password or other confidential security credentials.
7. Delivery
We deliver within Nairobi and across Kenya. Same-day delivery is available in Nairobi for orders confirmed early in the day.
Delivery charges, delivery times and courier options depend on destination, order size and weight, courier availability and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Delivery estimates are estimates and not guaranteed deadlines unless expressly agreed otherwise.
8. Inspection Upon Delivery
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after receiving it.
If a package appears visibly damaged, notify the courier where appropriate and contact us as soon as possible.
For wrong, missing or damaged items, please provide photographs and your order details to help us investigate.
9. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by Amariah Baby Shop’s separate Returns & Refunds Policy.
Please read that policy before purchasing. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable Kenyan law.
10. Warranties
Where a product carries a manufacturer’s warranty, the applicable warranty terms will apply. Warranty coverage differs between products.
Customers should retain their receipt or order reference for warranty claims.
11. Hygiene and Personal-Care Products
For health and hygiene reasons, certain products such as opened feeding bottles, teats, soothers, breast pumps, bathing items and personal-care products may not be eligible for return once opened or used, except where the item is defective or your statutory rights apply.
12. Special Orders
Products specially sourced or ordered at a customer’s request may be subject to different cancellation and return conditions.
We will inform you of applicable conditions before confirming a special order where reasonably possible.
13. Website Use
You must not use the website for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious software, copy or misuse website content for commercial purposes without permission, or submit false or fraudulent information.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, content on the Amariah Baby Shop website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and other materials, belongs to Amariah Baby Shop or its respective licensors and may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Kenyan law.

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Kenyan law.
