Amariah Baby Shop is based in Saika, Nairobi and delivers baby essentials to customers in Nairobi and across Kenya.
Our delivery service is available for retail and bulk orders, subject to product availability and destination.
1. Delivery Coverage
We deliver countrywide. Same-day delivery is available within Nairobi for orders confirmed early in the day.
Delivery availability may vary depending on destination, courier service and the nature of the product.
For locations outside normal courier routes, we will contact you to agree on a suitable delivery or pickup arrangement.
2. Delivery Charges
Nairobi delivery is charged at a flat rate of KES 200–300 depending on your location and the size of the order. Countrywide delivery is quoted per order based on the courier and destination.
Charges depend on factors such as:
- Delivery location
- Size and weight of the order
- Number of items
- Courier or transport method
- Urgency of delivery
The applicable delivery charge will be confirmed with you before dispatch.
3. Order Processing
Orders are normally processed after:
- The requested products have been confirmed as available; and
- Payment or any required deposit has been confirmed.
Orders requiring a special order or restock may take additional processing time. We will keep you informed.
4. Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates and depend on destination, courier, product availability and time of order.
- Nairobi: Same-day delivery for orders placed before midday, next-day otherwise
- Other parts of Kenya: Courier delivery, typically 1–3 business days
- Remote locations: Delivery times may be longer depending on courier coverage
We do not guarantee a specific delivery time unless it has been expressly confirmed in writing.
5. Delays
Delivery may be delayed by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, traffic, weather, public holidays, road conditions, strikes, security restrictions, supplier delays, incorrect delivery information or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where we become aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.
6. Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Town or city
- Delivery location or estate
- Landmark or physical address where applicable
Additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information may be charged to the customer where applicable.
7. Receiving Your Order
Please inspect your package when it arrives where reasonably possible.
If the package is visibly damaged, notify the courier and contact us as soon as possible. If an item is missing, incorrect or damaged, contact us promptly with your order details and photographs where applicable.
8. Failed Delivery
If a delivery cannot be completed because the customer cannot be reached, provides an incorrect address or phone number, is unavailable to receive the order, or refuses delivery without a valid reason, the order may need to be rescheduled.
Additional delivery charges may apply for repeated delivery attempts where the failure was not caused by Amariah Baby Shop.
9. Courier Services
We may use independent courier, transport and delivery providers. Once an order has been handed to a courier, delivery may be subject to the courier’s procedures and terms.
We will nevertheless assist you in following up on delivery issues where appropriate.
10. Pickup
You may arrange to collect your order from our shop near Laikipia Plaza, Kangundo Road, Saika, Nairobi.
Please wait for confirmation that the order is ready before travelling to collect it.
11. Large or Special Orders
Large bulk orders, bulky items such as baby furniture and mattresses, or specially ordered products may require separate delivery arrangements and charges.
We will inform you of the applicable arrangements before dispatch where reasonably possible.
12. Delivery Confirmation
Delivery may be confirmed through customer acknowledgement, courier confirmation, delivery receipt, telephone or WhatsApp confirmation, or other reasonable proof of delivery.
